THE STORAGE DEPOT has two locations here in Scotts Valley - just two minutes apart! Our original site houses 526 units, but after a seventy-person waiting list, we knew our customers deserved a faster response from us.  So, we built another 744 units just two minutes away! Each facility has its own office, Office and Resident Managers, and all the latest security features.
Safe - Secure - Sturdy All units have independent fire and sprinkler systems. Our facilities are fenced and gated and each customer has their own "secret code" for our computer access system. In addition, our computers track who is on grounds along with their access and exit times. At the storage depot II we even have video surveillance. The original STORAGE DEPOT was built with the same materials that we put into our K MART and SAFEWAY/LONGS shopping centers here: all wood with stucco finish. THE STORAGE DEPOT II is new technology: insulated steel; and all our units are ground floor, the larger (10 x 10+) are on the driveway with an eight foot steel roll door! Customer Service Our Managers are in our offices 7 days a week. We perform daily inspections to insure that each unit is properly locked (and we can identify your individual lock with our system). Our gate hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: all the daylight hours. Our computers insure that no one enters beyond those times...unless it's the Scotts Valley Police Department on their appointed rounds! Beyond that, our Resident Managers keep a close eye on the grounds; after all, they have a real interest in our security... it's their home!! As for length of stay: the day you come into us is the day your rent will be due each month! No first month's rent plus these weeks or those days plus confusing charges; just the first month's rent and $10 to $20 cleaning deposit (depending on size). and when you're ready to leave? You can move out the same day you "give notice;" no penalties, just our thanks for staying with us and our sincere wish that you come back again and again as so many of our customers have! |
